I've never been to Georgia and will be heading to Glynco for work / training. I will be there for 2 weeks Aug 12-24th, 2012. I hope to go to Jekyll
Island on 18th and 19th. Are there any special rules that I should be aware of? What about park fees etc.
If any one wants to meet up to give me some pointers etc that is always welcome.
Thanks

You'll need to pay a fee to enter the Island. You can get a multi day pass if you plan on going alot. Just common sense behavior is all that's
required. Respect others space and safety. Kites are welcome there. Hook up with Acampbell with Coastal Wind Sports, he is only 15 minutes away.

+1 for getting with Angus Campbell, he is super awesome, always ready to ride and fully equipped with tons of stuff. I met up with him in May, and had
a great day on the buggy and learned a great deal from him.
Jekyll is a great beach for kiting, you will love it indeed. Go to http://www.coastalwindsports.com/servlet/StoreFront and look for Angus' contact info,... he know all the ins and outs of the island and can steer
you right even if he isn't able to meet up with you.
And the fee for the Island is only $5.
