Are any of these kites good?shehatesmyhobbies - 28-7-2012 at 01:21 PM
Of the ones you have posted, the Ozone IMP would be about the best deal. It comes with a two line bar with no braking system, but it does have the
reverse launch capability.
The Stylus is a two line kite, not bad for beginners, but usues straps like a stunt kite rather than a bar or handles.
The Eolo radsail, a little older but not a bad start.
The power kite 3m seems to be a knockoff, which I would stay away from. Deal with someone that sells kites on a usual basis, not some novelty store.shehatesmyhobbies - 28-7-2012 at 01:25 PM
Looks like it just sold though! No longer for sale.shortlineflyer - 28-7-2012 at 01:59 PM

Right, the brake line needs to be taken apart from the power and connected to the brake line of the handle. Rather a wimpy 4 line kite.
I stacked 3 of the P-3's and fly them on 2 lines, 120" long. Now its fun.soliver - 28-7-2012 at 06:28 PM
Big Mike (Big Mike's Kites) is selling a new brand called Cross Kites.
I don't know much about them at all, but they are supposed to be a super affordable alternative beginner level kite in multiple sizes. I think the
write up says it is in line with the HQ Beamer or PL Hornet. He probably has a lot more info on them, and he is great to work with. I have bought
several kites from him. Shoot him an email.
Don't forget about Pansh Kites- You could buy up to a 4.5 for under $150. Try looking at the Legend- Good 4 liner to start with and low priced too.bigkid - 28-7-2012 at 10:25 PM
Angus at Coastal Wind Sports has some PKD Buster Soulflys that you can fly on a bar as a 2-line kite with a 3rd line for revers launching, they are
also flown as a 4-line kite on handles. They make Excellent trainers and later on you can have an Awesome high wind kite all for the same price..mikellli - 2-8-2012 at 09:05 AM
HQ Scout2 is a great trainer kite. It comes with a bar, which you can also use with harness. Adjustable tension control. Easy revers launching, and in
my opinion an excellent safety. I really highly recommend this trainer kite.
