the return of Pablo

dirtslide - 29-7-2012 at 08:57 AM

I was out kite bugging yesterday and while stopping to get some water there was a large shadow cast over me so i turn to see what was blocking the sun and there stands an old friend with that huge smile . Paul Baratta ,Tara and the kids are out to see how the park looks on a 4m day and I could tell someone wanted to get out in that wind . Scuddley pops a 5m reflex up and walks over to Paul and tells him to get out there ,well no hesitation as pablo jumps into a buggy and is soon tearing across GP like he was riding last week when in fact we havent seen Paul and the family for nearly four years. Now we need to find some gear for them as they have gone through some hard times and had to sell most of there gear. we even had Pauls daughter franky , get her first ride in a buggy and the giant smile on her face was somthing I wont soon forget. good to see the Baratta gang out at the park .

Welcome back Pablo! I'm still cherishing the Brooza in Alberta!

Pablo - 30-7-2012 at 07:30 PM

Sad days, I hear the brooza has been discontinued. That has by far been my favorite kite. It was truly good for all conditions and uses.

Will probably be looking for combats or some sort of race foil in the future. But I have to put on my "Dad" had for a bit and make sure the first set of kites is something the kiddlets can use.
