Any good spots to kiteboard around dallas? Anyone know when the windy season is?

Not super close. Your best bet may be Galveston.....unless you want a lake. I do not know anything about the lakes around Dallas.

Thanks Tx, I found a site that list spots for Lake Ray Hubbard, so I may give that a shot, I will keep looking. When does the wind blow in galveston?

It's blowing this weekend but not consistent. If you want consistent, then wait a couple more months.
Check out the local kite shop website, they usually have updates as what's going on in the galveston area.

Found this info on ikitesurf.com
South Winds are the norm for Dallas Area...here's a list of launches that favor South Winds...
DalRock - Located on Lake Ray Hubbard right off of I-30 (popular but not a spot for novices ... nice grassy launch but lots of families w/ kids, rocky
shoreline, deep water, waves/chop and lots of kiters) Free entrance
Lake Benbrook - Just south of Ft Worth (search Holiday Park) ... if its windy, there will always be a couple riders there. Nice grassy launch. $3
entrance
Lake Ray Roberts - Approx 1hr north of Dallas (search Johnson Park) ... grassy launch, waist deep water throughout but long drive from Dallas. $7
entrance
North Wind Launches
Lake Grapevine - (search Oakgrove Park) Grassy Launch but expect gusts. Free
Lake Lewisville - (search Hobby Point) Same as above. $10 entrance
