Cris, Mark, Nigel and myself headed down to Sandy Point (2 hrs drive SE of Melbourne, Australia) for a weekend on the sand. Sunday was very gusty and
a bit damp, Monday the wind died off a bit and the sunshine came out....along with the cameras. Was kicking myself at the end of the day - wind died
off to 5-7 knots and I pulled out the 10m Fluro Yellow Nasa Star 2 for it's maiden voyage......and the GoPro battery went flat. Blast! It was an
awesome park and ride monster that even pulled away from a 12.5m Montana. Gonna have to get some more batteries.....

John I picked up a spare battery and charger pack (with all the wires needed) for $45.00US this spring. If you have a newer GoPro it clips rite onto
the back and doubles your battery life. I have to stop and switch it out. But it's still good.John Holgate - 4-8-2012 at 05:21 PM
Yeah, I'm contemplating a spare battery or two and a wall charger as well....
Just for a bit of fun, here's the whole length of the beach from out at the point down to Waratah Bay - a 14 km run which took 30 minutes - that I've
speeded up to 3 minutes.
