FREE Kite Trike Buggy  almost.

bigkid - 8-8-2012 at 07:21 PM

I really need to thin the heard so to speak, 7 bugs are more than enough to cause a problem each time I load up for a trip to the beach.

I have a used, but still good shape, Kite Trike Buggy with a bit of rust, newer tires and lots and lots of experience, to give away.

As the last item I gave away was a great source of info as to what not to do, I hope this one goes a bit better.

I am giving the bug away for free,(but you have to pay shipping).
Anyone and everyone is eligible for this one. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TELL ME WHY YOU SHOULD GET IT. I don't want to hear any one telling me about someone else and why they should get it.

WHY DO YOU WANT IT? You have to tell me in 25 words or less.:shocked2: All of the reasons will be read and the winner picked by Mrs. Bigkid, and she has the last say. Right Honey?

The bug will be boxed up and shipped out to the winner and BKK will pay $50.00 for shipping and the winner will pay the rest of the postage. If you live in the outer reaches of Mars or Venus, expect to pay a bit of money to get the bug. DO YOU UNDERSTAND?????????

It starts, NOW. and ends - Click Here

Good to know I'm not alone. I have two buggies, two landboards and a kitebike in the spare/kite room. Todd's Ivanpah , two tandem trailers, and my 1st green grasshopper buggy in my shed. As well as an experimental buggy frame that never got finished. Now i'm thinking about a NEW kitebike......:wee: I need help...
:megan:

cheezycheese - 8-8-2012 at 11:24 PM

I would like it to donate to the WildWood Catholic high school Powerkite/Buggy Club.

skimtwashington - 9-8-2012 at 08:47 AM

My mostly untwisted(was backed over) dump rescue buggy wobbles at higher speed( warped rims). A more stable buggy would be nice.

My oldest has been saying "daddy when are you going to get the buggy pull behind thing????"

That's not fair pulling out the cute kid pics!

bigkid - 9-8-2012 at 11:50 AM

My wife raised 3 boys, and 2 of them left over 18 years ago, and I don't plan on ever leaving.
She learned a long time ago about snow jobs and the truth. I have been trying to pull the wool over her eyes for over 40 years, and I am still working on it.

Good luck everyone.

martinipro - 9-8-2012 at 12:03 PM

Sent this on a U2U i figured I should post here

Introducing new people to the sport! Kristin and Ana enjoy riding with us. The buggy would allow 2 of us to ride together at a time!

rocfighter - 9-8-2012 at 01:31 PM

Martin Anna is so little you could sit on the back of yours and not know it!!!!
Goooood luck to all. I have three so don't nee more!

peevee - 9-8-2012 at 01:59 PM

Well it's the truth, but I just figured the grinning kiddo face would only help

Snake - 9-8-2012 at 06:34 PM

14 year old with not much money. Is addicted to kiteing and doesn't have a board or buggy. Would make others want to kite too.

wiers - 9-8-2012 at 07:01 PM

Was going to say that I am trying to get friends and their families into kiting and having a buggy would be awesome. Then I was going to post a picture of my 6 year old daughter getting pulled by me in the yard on a 10 year old MBS Comp 26 board with her saying please Mrs. Bigkid a trike is way cooler. Were also in State and would be able to pick buggy up.

But I can't compete with Snake for he has a great reasons. Good luck deciding Mrs. Bigkid and Thanks

pyro22487 - 9-8-2012 at 07:40 PM

Man i thought it was in the bag for cheese but now I'm not so sure. Good luck to all. Oh I don't need 1 I already have 2 and barely have room for them in the garage as it is.

paramoose - 9-8-2012 at 08:08 PM

I taught my wife and daughter to kite buggy on my buggy .And now I need a buggy if I ever want to ride again ,besides I'm in Washington the state.

chamner - 11-8-2012 at 12:00 AM

I have a few kites and have now developed the need to go fast! ( At least faster than I can skud ). Located in Eastern WA. Thanks for the excitement!

bigkid - 11-8-2012 at 04:43 AM

My wife is having a good time reading the posts. She thinks that soliver has a cute little girl, she doesnt look like she has much to do with kites, but the dolls look busy.

The end is getting closer...........

MNKiteFan - 11-8-2012 at 08:46 AM

Can't compete with donating to charity but I gotta throw my hat in the ring anyway lol. I am fairly new to kiting and just made the jump buying a PL Twister 5.6 and a HQ Symphony 2.1
My wife (God love her) was ok with these purchases but has put the lockdown on the wallet for a bit as far as kiting purchases go:no:
This would allow me to get a buggy and spend more time with my 19 year old boy who is getting into this addiction we call a sport.
By the way any idea how much shipping would be to MN? The boss would like to know lol

Just became a transfer student at WildWood Catholic high school and joined Powerkite/Buggy Club

skimtwashington - 11-8-2012 at 11:48 AM

Sometimes you want a fake ID pushing your age the other direction(younger)! boy did I get a hard time with gray hair!

So now give it to Cheezy...who'll be donating it to...ME!:wink2:

Right on Cheezy!

Does this help?:

:smilegrin::smilegrin::smilegrin:

PLEEEEEAAAASE, Mrs BigKid,.... Daddy needs a tandem Buggy!

KsKiteAddict - 11-8-2012 at 07:16 PM

Some of the reasons so far are going to be really hard to beat (like the pics in the one from soliver), but I can't win if I don't try, so here goes...

"Would like to win buggy to be better equipped to teach a class this Fall at my local church on kiting (safer than a board)."

Wow, those 25 words go fast. May the person with the best reason win!

eqrall - 11-8-2012 at 11:41 PM

I feel the same that rest of the post are very hard to beat, but i also have to try.

"College student paying his own way through. Would love to finally be a kite buggy rider than dreaming about it while watching YouTube."

bigkid - 11-8-2012 at 11:52 PM

Don't think for a minute that Soliver has it wrapped up, if I know Mrs. BK, everyone has a good chance at the bug.

Here is a hint if it helps, Think outside the box, use your imagination.

In consolation...

skimtwashington - 12-8-2012 at 03:44 AM

I found the fifth Golden Ticket...! I'm going to Wonka's!

"...Burp Grandpa...Burp!

:megan:...oops... too much burp. Why's it green.... we been eating chocolate Grandpa?"

Pablo - 12-8-2012 at 08:49 AM

Sold all my kite gear trying to keep the house (minus the baby busters for kids)

Lost the house anyways. Now the kids are older (9,11,13) and are all interested in kiting but I still have no cash for gear. Small buggy like that would be perfect for them.

Nomadic - 12-8-2012 at 10:04 AM

Churches and Cute little girls are hard to compete with.. but here's my plea:

I Live in the un-kited deserts of Utah and this buggy would be first colonist in the birth of a desert kite revolution. Hurrah!

24 words..

Andmychurchgoinglittlegirlswouldloveit..

25.

Peace,
Nomadic

MNKiteFan - 12-8-2012 at 11:13 AM

Lol guess I missed the part about 25 words or less!
So here is my attempt at it....

1.Midwest=no beach
2.New Kites=low funds and lockdown on wallet by wife
3.19yr old son with need for adrenaline
=> need Buggy

WELDNGOD - 12-8-2012 at 11:57 AM

Jeff, the Boss has one heck of a job to do. This could come down to a spinning wheel and a dart!:wee:

KiteElemental - 12-8-2012 at 04:39 PM

I have been introducing our boy scout troop to the kite buggy sport. I want to share and set up a tandem for the boys.

Thanks for making this opportunity available to the PKF community!

bigkid - 12-8-2012 at 05:54 PM

Hi Guys, Mrs. BK here, I have narrowed it down to 2 and I am not sure as to which one to pick. So if they respond to their u2u's they have 1 more shot before I make a final decision. Give it your best shot guys.

I have to concede to this Mrs. BK... I resolve to pass in favor of Pablo's plight.... GO PABLO!!!!

As a matter of good conscience, I withdraw.

MNKiteFan - 12-8-2012 at 07:10 PM

And that my friends is why I LOVE this community!!!!:bouncy::thumbup:

soliver - 12-8-2012 at 08:01 PM

Thanks MNkitefan for the props, but I made an incorrect assumption about who else might be in the final running and I've been informed differently,... That being said, I have given the choice back to the generous couple who are giving away the Bug.

Anywho,... my hope is to be able to involve my wife and kids in what I really enjoy. For now they only have the option to sit by and watch until they get bored. So even if I don't win, I've gotten to share pics of what I am most proud of,... these Gals:

Best of luck to the other who is in the final running, who ever you may be!!!

Spencer

bigkid - 13-8-2012 at 06:20 PM

Rock, thank u for your reply and I have decided that you and your boys deserve a free buggy. I hope all of you enjoy it as much as my family has. It does my heart good to know that kids want to do something other than play video games and I am all for anything physical to burn some energy.
Enjoy, have fun, laugh, that's what life is all about.
Mrs Big Kid.

bigkid - 13-8-2012 at 06:27 PM

I have to say, I was surprised by the decision of the judge. But I will never say that out loud........
CONGRATULATIONS ROCK, YOU ARE THE WINNER.

soliver - 13-8-2012 at 06:33 PM

BeamerBob - 13-8-2012 at 10:58 PM

This has been fun to watch. I'm constantly amazed at how this group doesn't behave like the rest of society. This has me wanting to find something to give away myself. Maybe this selfless act of generosity by BigKid and the Mrs. will cause others to want to get the rush of giving something to someone. There is hope for the human race. It is kites.

bigkid - 14-8-2012 at 03:54 AM

I was talking to my wife about this give away and she made a remark that sums it up for both of us.

Mrs Big Kid.

I was into "ME" stuff. Mountain climbing, Sky diving, Hang gliding, Scuba diving, Motorcycle racing, and so many more it hurts the brain to remember. And now, flying kites.
This is the first "Family Activity" I have been involved with. 2 sons, their wife's, and 8 or 9 grand kids, and friends, (there seams like 2000 when holidays roll around), all at the beach flying kites of some sort and to some degree. With everyone doing something from 1-line, 2-line, 4-line, an ATB, and the buggy, all at the same time. With a BBQ on the beach at dinner time. Ain't family life fun?
No more "I" sports, just "us" from now on. Thats the reason for this give away thing.

Enjoy.

rocfighter - 14-8-2012 at 05:45 AM

Hey Rock from a fellow roc congrates on the new ride. I hope the pictures of the boys in the buggy get shared. Have a blast with your family.
