Please g00f, tell me you don't keep this in your breast pocket?
I don't know...?

....don't know if a breast cancer survivor..or sufferer would find this company amusing? The combination of donating to breast cancer and a woman's
breast being put on an iphone case... may not be the proper combination..knowing it creates more jokes than sales or donations.
On it's own it is 100% fine (a nice novelty item). But when you put in the breast cancer thing-regardless that it is donations 1%..10%..who cares) it
just becomes...... creepy.
Using the sympathy cause to encourage sales of something can be a tricky line if done improperly And this may be the example of inappropriate.
Like....Guns are fine to sell and liquor is fine to sell..But you don't see Joe's Alcohol And Gun store- Bad combination! How bout if the store
added, "we donate 2% of sales to MADD and 'Victims of Gun Violence' organizations. Let us suggest the best vodka to go with your new Uzi!" Uh-Ohhh...
Some time it's not the individual item- it's the combination of 'things'.
To me the REAL joke IS having a boob case while using breast cancer to make sales...and thinking you can't be offending a fair amount of
women. This is what struck me as hilarious. But maybe a lot of guys will buy it?
Maybe I'm alone on this one..?:puzzled:
This idea was not created by a woman..i'm betting.:tumble:BeamerBob - 11-8-2012 at 10:12 AM
You can say or do anything and find someone that it offends. This didn't ping my sensibilities.g00fba11 - 11-8-2012 at 01:38 PM
Well.....I will share the whole story on how I really came about finding these......didn't figure this would start an ethics debate.....
My younger sister is a breast cancer survivor. She had a double mastectomy about a year and a half ago. She is free and clear now......
She texted me with the photo of this iPhone cover attached the other day and said hey!!!! check it out...... looks like it will only cost me 40
bucks and 2 pockets to get them back.....and no surgery..... I was totally ROFL..... it would not surprise me in the least if she shows up at the next
family gathering with a couple of these in her pockets.
I have met many cancer survivors through my sister. I shared here text with a client of mine who is a breast cancer survivor and she thought it was
a hoot.....
There are many cancer survivors here on the forum...... the one thing I have learned from all the cancer survivors I have know is that even through
all the stress and anxiety through their disease and treatment....humor was a key element in helping them keep there sanity.
I shared this just cause I thought it would be funny to be able to stick a boob in your pocket.......
I would not recommend this case for Beamerbob...... if he started using this case his monogram might take on a different meaning....
Sorry g00f ba11...

..Glad to hear 2nd hand a woman's point of view on this.
I didn't mean to take ANY humor out of this post. I tried to put some in. But I may not have been thinking clearly.
It just first struck me funny in a different way..the two things together. ... and I wasn't sure how it comes off...to women. I wasn't offended
personally at all. Amused that it might possible be a little insensitive without seller realizing it. But I guess no one is likely put off
...
I may have thought too much on it..... or too little?
Guess I might be the only real boob on this one.
Whew..glad to get that off my chest. BeamerBob - 11-8-2012 at 03:51 PM
skimt I've always been a bob man...........er um................ nevermind. G00f has me all flustered again.g00fba11 - 11-8-2012 at 05:42 PM
@skimt.....no apologies necessary.....
it is all fun hear......
I think we should all show our support for breast cancer awareness and by a T-Shirt and also a couple of iPhone cases and put couple of boobs in our pockets for the next kiting event......
I know I would love to see BB in that t-shirt.....especially if it is an accent to his special go fast flash attire........ have camera...will travel....
