like probably many of us, i amassed a collection of kites, most of which i never use, or ever did use. most of these kites are in excellent, like new
condition. mainly because i live in NYC and have no car, so my days i get to kite are very limited, then i also mainly kitesurf, although i do also
have TWO kitebuggies! so the kites i do use, are a quiver of venoms which definitely show signs of wear, depsite also being relatively lightly used,
as i average about 10 sessions per year
i will run down the kites and their history.
ozone little devil 3m $200 obo - this was my first power kite. i was living in las vegas at the time when i bought it and intended to
use it out there to buggy around in the desert, however, i was forced to move suddenly, back to nyc, and this kite has never been used with a buggy.
just about a half dozen static flying sessions at the beach out here in long island. it's like new as it has about 10 hours flying time on it, and has
always been kept in its bag in my apartment. no damage to it.
ozone frenzy 7.3 RTF $300 - my second kite. i bought for snowkiting, back when i had a car for a bit. i used it about 10 times,
mostly on the snow, but once in the buggy on the beach. no rips or repairs. kite is in excellent condition as you can see from the photos.
peter lynn Phantom 18 $400 - kite and bag(+video) bought this kite when i was learning to kitesurf, but is not a good kitesurf kite.
wind was always either too much or too little for this kite and i never actually did any sort of actual kiting with this beauty of a kite because once
i bought the venoms, i have mostly ridden them. despite the 3 times i actually inflated and flew the kite static, i somehow got some punctures in this
kite. my guess is it was sharp shells on the beach, but the holes are tiny and are patched with heavy duty patches. you can see a close up of these 2
holes in the photos.
peter lynn venom 16m blue/turquoise kite and bag only(+vid) this kite was not one i used much and was one of my nicest kites, but it
has been repaired professionally because of a meeting with a pole, and on my last session with in back in oct of '07 i flew it into a dock and it got
a big huge tear on the top skin. it might be a relatively simple repair, but i've procrastinated on getting it done, so it's been sitting in a kitebag
too long without getting the work it needs. despite that, the material is still very new and crispy because it was a rare occasion that this kite
would get out. i have not really missed the extra bottom end i could get out of this kite because without a car, i don't get out much at all and i
only ever get out when it's really blowing. it's not being used or repaired here, and i need to sell stuff, so i guess i will accept any reasonable
offer on this kite.
bomba 10.5 $275-SOLD- - a cult classic. this kite has been flown
less than 5 times. it's like new. i love the look and feel of this kite, i will be sad to let it go, but i never use it, so...
i have no idea still about how to post pictures to this site, but i see that it's been done(thanks). best i can do is post this link to the
folder it's in on my server. so sorry about the awful lack of embedded photos... i feel sooo dumb!

I have a few questions about the Ozone 7.3. I am looking for my first depower kite for landboarding and snowkiting. I weigh 250# I have a 4.9 PL
reactor on handles and have been using that to landboard. Would the 7.3 be a good kite to start depower with? Also what year is it? Read some
reviews on it and not sure some like it others don't. It is gusty here in the summer. Usally ride in 12 - 18 mph wind.

With average winds of 12 - 18mph you will eventually find the 7.3 a small kite. A nice size for stepping into depower but you will be wanting about a
10m for those winds at some point. At $300 it is a very good deal even if it is older. It will serve as your high wind kite as you grow.
If money is tight and you are willing to grow into it , you may be best off to go straight to a 10m ish kite?

season's greetings y'all.
i am bumping this thread because despite interest in most of these kites, due to my travels, and general laziness, the communication broke down and i
still have all but the bomba for sale. if those of you that have already contacted me are still interested, please reach out to me again as i am now
settled and have enough time to deal with this.
sorry that i've not been very active on this forum and therefore missed some of the questions and inquiries. please feel free to direct any new
inquiries to my cell @ 646 541 3952. i am currently in seattle until the 3rd of january, after which i'll be in the yucatan penninsula for a few
months.
tight lines!
