All the video I've seen from cheaper versions of the GoPro, Drift, Contour etc are absolutely crap. I think for tards who don't care, it'd be fine

CasesThe Click & Grip Case is included
The High-Impact Case is $9.99
The Waterproof Case is $19.99 (i.e. not waterproof or impact resistant by default)
The Portable Video Viwerer is $29.99
The memory storage is MicroSD for good or ill.
The battery is Li-Po, but they don't say whether it is built-in or user replaceable.
Basically right now... more questions than answers.
The manufacturer ad:
and then for a dose of reality, a video review of the SD version with sample footage
Pixel bleed in high speed action.
Autofocus seems a tad slow.
Auto Aperture lags a bit a seems to cause flicker... sometimes a lot.
In the second segment not sure what's happening with the the built-in mic.
Seems like a lot of Version 1, quick-to-market-itis.

Go back and watch some GoPro 1 footage :o eep! There's a good reason some cameras sell for $300... R&D, quality components...
Neat concept though!cheezycheese - 2-9-2012 at 07:29 PM
