I am selling my Manta windjammer so that I can purchase a Kite Buggy. I live in the Denver area and can deliver if needed (we'll have to talk if you
are more than 100 miles away!).
Since they sell for $1875 new, and he has sold plenty of them both new and used, I figure he knows best.
Corey from WindPower Sports in Vegas commented that the sail appeared to be new (I disagree but I am more critical than he is I guess). He also
estimated that it was built in the mid nineties.
Lots of good times still left in this cart. I know I had it over 30 mph on gravel.
Lots of pics on my webshots site if you click the pic below:
I am going to use the money for a buggy so if you want to trade instead of money I am open for options. However, I have plenty of kites and another
will not do me much good if I do not have a buggy!bugymangp - 10-9-2012 at 01:35 PM
i have a libra full race buggy that is in almost new cond. i only used a few times.
i found it to be to heavy for me. i do have 3 other buggies that i use.

Buggy man GP aka Glenn is definitely a stand up guy! Been doing this longer than most of us. Nice buggy too!jeepersjoey - 11-9-2012 at 05:34 AM
Sorry guys...I was checking the post and did not realize you had posted.
I sent a U2U.
I am not known in the buggy world. I am mostly a stunt kiter that is transitioning to enjoy buggys. I have NPW9 in sizes 3.4 and 5.4m, also a few
2.5m foild and a 4.2m Prism Tensor. Oh yea, also a Landboard that scares me (hehe).bugymangp - 11-9-2012 at 06:22 AM

I have had two offers but have not closed on the deal.
bugymangp is a little too far to drive and neither of us is interested in breaking it down to ship. Ick! Anyone have ideas on how we can ship
to/from Denver / NJ?
I have another offer but my 2U2 has been ignored (please respond?)
I am not looking for a superbuggy...this will be my first and I'd like one that will keep me entertained for several years and lightweight for inland
winds around soccer fields...no beach or Salt Flats in Denver!
Let me know what you have.bugymangp - 12-9-2012 at 07:03 AM
hey paul
does that mean the deal is dead?
i just wanted to know if i should pull the buggy out from my storage unit.revpaul - 12-9-2012 at 02:13 PM

-you will soon become very interested in attending one of the many kite buggy events through out the US
-you will benifit from and enjoy the smooth(as opposed to teeth chattering) ride added stability and durability of a stretched out buggy with larger
(shock absorbing) tires.
of course common sense is a factor...if someone is offering 25 yr old PL ST home-modded to fit balloons then you better be aware...
if someone is willing to trade you a good beach/race oriented buggy do not hesitate.
i'm also on soccer/grass farm...
i bought a Libre Supertruck II and a brand new PL XR+ at the same time. I thought i'd mainly use the small XR+ (lighter easier to transport) locally
but it was not the case. I used the larger bug exclusively and sold the XR+ to a friend still in brand new condition a couple years later. Yes the
STII was heavier but it was no bother to load/unload it and the benifit hugely outweighed the weight (non)issue.
I'd like to see it
jeepersjoey - 13-9-2012 at 05:38 AM
Bugymngp,
Please get it from storage. I would like to see the condition so we can both make a final decision. I have been thinking a lot and will be checking
on shipping costs today. The more pics the better...do like I did and get a webshots account as it is easy to use and allows many pics to be stored.
If we decide that this is a good deal for us both, are you also willing to ship? I assume it would be more expensive for me based on size. Plus, I
would have to dismantle the sailer to flatten.
I figure it would be three boxes:
1. Boom (3 pieces) and sail. Long tube.
2. frame with axle removed. flat box 8 ft long
3. Parts: six tires, seat, rope. Large box.
The rest of you...can you weigh in on the Libre Full Race? I do have a concern on parts since it is German and no longer manufactured.
Thanks!pyro22487 - 13-9-2012 at 06:57 AM
Libre buggies are very well made. Bigkid is the new retailer for them in Americabugymangp - 13-9-2012 at 09:30 AM
hi paul
i sent you a e mail.
please don`t worry about the cond of this buggy will not find a better almost new buggy like this. i will pull it out of my unit this weekend and take
pictures.
i think you are worried i`m giving you a piece of junk buggy but i`m not.
everyone please tell this guy what kind of guy i am. i wouldn`t say it the cond of this buggy is just about new if it wasn`t. trust me PLEASE.jeepersjoey - 13-9-2012 at 07:25 PM
Bugymangp and I talked and we are good. Ya'll can kick in stories of his heroics but once he said that he and Corey have shared a hotel I knew this
was the guy.
My theory is "always do the right thing" and bugymangp appears to be the same.
He and I are going to give it a try and ship these things.
Tonight I broke the land sailer down to a shipable size and am happy with the results. It will not be as large a shipment as I originally thought.
Welcome me to the world of bugs!cheezycheese - 14-9-2012 at 04:27 AM
I want a ride Glenn...:cool2:Cerebite - 15-9-2012 at 09:38 AM

No amount of counseling is gonna erase that fateful night with Corey. Good luck Bro!jeepersjoey - 15-9-2012 at 05:04 PM
John A. - Yup. Need a date for NABX?
I went to DicS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s Sporting Goods today to look at helmets. $8 helmet for a $8 head sound about right?
In case anyone wonders that it costs to ship a land sailer, $226.jeepersjoey - 16-9-2012 at 03:16 PM
Celebite made a good point when I saw him today.
Thanks all for trusting a newbie to the forum. I understand when a new person comes on the list and immediately sells something.
I am deep into the stunt kite forum but new to the Power Kite.
So...thanks for welcoming me.
Transaction done and wow did bugymangp make good!
jeepersjoey - 22-9-2012 at 08:15 PM
Our transaction is complete and Bugymangp was a man of his word.
Not only did the cart arrive quickly, but it was in perfect shape.
