Hornet II 2m on ebay 219.00 great price, great sellerKsKiteAddict - 27-9-2012 at 06:48 PM
Dino at DaKitez has 2m Hornet II for sale in used section for $200 shipped. Barely used, great deal.cheezycheese - 27-9-2012 at 08:15 PM
I have a 2m BeamerIV you can have for $160. It's like new.. Flew it static for a few minutes when I set up the lines and then never touched it again.rtz - 27-9-2012 at 08:24 PM
The kite price is okay; but the lines/handles price....
Funny , Dino was the seller on the kite I found too!BeamerBob - 28-9-2012 at 09:05 AM
If you really need a 2m, I'd recommend the Hornet, Beamer, or a PL Viper if you can find one. Angus still has a screaming good deal on the PKD Buster
Soulfly at the Coastal site as well.bigkid - 28-9-2012 at 10:09 AM
I agree with Bobby, Buster Soulfly 2.2m $155.00 New, with lines, handles, kite killers, kite stakes, sand bags, kite bag, and stickers.k kites - 29-9-2012 at 10:25 AM
Thanks all!
I still can't decide... I'm waiting for a too good deal to fall.
Do the busters fly worth a darn? I have been burned on off brand kites.

Haven't flown the Buster, but have flown the Brooza and the Combat. PKD is not an "off-brand" kite. They do very well on the European competition
circuit. A tad less well known in the USA.
While their distribution network is not as extensive as HQ or Ozone, that is not a reflection on their quality.
If I had any kind of nit, my only issue with their gear is that I wouldn't count on the ground stakes that come with the RTF package. They look like
the ones that came with the Brooza RTF package which always struck me as being a bit weak. However, I have no shortage of kite stakes so that was
never a concern for me.
ATB,
Sam
P.S.
Jeff (BigKid) is the US distributor for PKD....
A fine chilled chianti generally goes well with shoe leather (fava beans, optional) bigkid - 29-9-2012 at 11:55 AM
Sam, Funny you should bring up the kite stake issue. Working on that as I was reading your post. Yes the stakes suck. I am looking at a new pair as I
type. Next week the new ones will go out instead of the old style.cheezycheese - 29-9-2012 at 12:06 PM
You ain't gonna find a better deal on a new kite anywhere. That PKD is where it's at...WELDNGOD - 29-9-2012 at 12:08 PM

Nope! Deffo NOT an off brand kite. Top notch actually. Just more well known in europe. The Busters are great kites, and they get better as the wind
builds. A 2.2m PKD CentII is another sweet and powerful kite when the winds get up.

Hi again
Thanks for the Intel!
I can tell busters have a passionate following! By no means did I intend insult, I just never heard of them.
Still looking though
Thx again

The HQ Beamer is probably the most recommended, but PKD is a high quality manufacturer as well and the Buster stands out because it is a complete
package for such a great price.
Any kite mentioned in this thread can be bought with confidence. If someone suggested a kite that isn't really all that great, several would offer
their dissenting opinion to warn you.DAKITEZ - 30-9-2012 at 11:36 AM
what do you want this kite to be used for? This info will help people point you toward the right kite. It sounds like you have already found out that
the cheapest kite is not so much the right kite. I would focus a little less on the cheapest kite and focus on the right kite for what you want to use
it for. Figure out exactly what kite you want then you can search for the best deal.
All the kites mentioned are good kites, but if you want a 2m to set a personal best speed in a buggy than they are not it. If you want a stable more
entry level kite then those all fit your needs.tridude - 1-10-2012 at 01:53 PM
I have a new never flown 3m Libre Bora, with Peter Lynn lines and handles, never flown.........the Libre is a race kite but mad reviews on stability
and power........a meter larger than your looking for and will power up more a bit more than her size.........not sure if your looking or ready to fly
a race kite in the buggy assuming you want a buggy engine................shoot me a U2U if interested.......................
