Hi well I'm new here and was thinking is there anyone else in the UK on here ?

There are a lot of good folks across the pond with you. Look up Poppey The Welder aka PTW aka Carlos Fandango And through him you will connect to every one over there.
Welcome to the wonderful world of wacky kite sports. Put on your helmet and have a ball.

Carl the Bullet is our UK guy to look up to as well.

He rides most styles . Is a leader in the mountian board kiting.

You are very fortunate. Folks ride at a higher level in the UK. You have a lot of amazing riders to follow!

Welcome.

Hey smegmix!

I'm in the UK :) Although not at all in the league of PTW or CTB !
I've been flying power kites for several years, I have a flexi airdeck, but mainly buggy these days (although I haven't been bugging for a long time at all) so have a bit of experience.

Where are you based ? Im in Norfolk, and fly at Hunstanton.

Tim

ThanS-P-A-M-L-I-N-K-s guy's I'll keep um peeled for them , I'm just starting out on my trip to live boarding and looking to get some gear some time soon , at the mo I only have a 2.1 beach symphony and thinking of gettin a bar to get used to the control of it and then a board and get used to them both then get the bigger kite , what worry's me is i'v never been very good on a skateboard (ok more like Mr bean lol ) , so not so shore about a mounting board , I understand how they work and what your ment
to do but that's all part of the fun of learning :wee:

I found that it was easier to travel on the board when you're being pulled by a kite ! I was never good on a skate board, so I woulnt worry! (although I wasn't amazing with the kite either, lol..)

I've also got some kites for sale if you're interested in upgrading your equiptment:
3m pansh legend
4.1m PL twister
5m ozone riot

All in close to new condition, and with upgraded control systems. Let me know if your interested !! :)
Your also welcome to try any equipyment of mine, including the board if you wanted to get some practice in, if you are close by ! :)

yup there are more & more UK kiters on here lately.

Also try Kiteforum which has a lot of Euro riders. PKF is the most active and friendly kiteforum i have tried though.

Definately watch CarlTB's vids if you are into landboarding
