A short break from power kiting - forgive me if you've already seen this before. I'm pretty sure all of us have flown these kites before, but not
sure how many of us have flown 3 of them independently, at the same time...

The last time I say him he was more than tan my brotha, and yes he is up there in age.
But the body does nasty things to the mind, it goes kapute while the mind is as sharp as a tack. If I could only beat up mouthy punks with my mind I
would be king of the hill.

That is Ray. It is actually HIS park ( according to his bench ) but I call Vanier my own. He used to only have very few words for me . " You're in
the wrong park " !
Fortunately he has seen that I respect him and his space. He likes me now. I have been flying there enough years that the old gaurd are dying off and
I am #3 in the pecking order ! Yes, Ray is slowing down. Only flew with him twice this year. Art that flew those giant home made Ram air kites just
passed away. :saint:
What is sad is that these folks don't seem to be being replaced. You are as likely to see folks kiting their paragliders there as flying stunt kites
these days.
