.... I decide to share my first twilight kiteboarding experience ....
Lets start from beginning .....
We have awesome time on our camping trip in Assateague Island, MD where sadly there was not much wind to play with .... Wehen we arrive on Friday we
have light wind session with X19 kites until sunset ... We did another session like that on Sunday .... Other time was filled with kayaking,
biking, beer drinking and relaxing .....
Sunday night we start camp fire, some food , few beers, talking about kiting ....
Around 1am Jaymz notice that wind picked up and flag installed on camper is fully extended ..... night was bright with full moon on the sky .... He
goes .... Lets go kiting ..... That was it .... I get up and get my gear .... 14m Gin Uru and Glider ..... We walk to launch spot and start
setting up with flashlights in hands .... Thankfully park rangers never show up ..... otherwise we would have some explanation to do .....
So now lets talk about experience ....
Idea itself got my heart pumping and exciting .... when I pump my kite I think it was in record speed.... and in my head there was lots of thing
going on ..... Safety .... trying to remember from previous days where not to go , where to go if kite is down , where is deep and where shallow
.... Its my kite set correctly .... How far Jaymz and my brother can see when I am riding .....
Finally .... first water start and happy face knowing few minutes later that I choose perfect kite and board size for that session .....
When riding away from land everything becomes brighter ..... I could see everything with moon reflecting in water .... That is something that I will
remember for long time ..... So quiet , so peaceful .... perfectly steady wind and some lights on horizon from other side of bay .... It was
exciting experience and I think when you have night as bright us that one and on shore wind it is worth going out ......
I want to thank Jaymz and Robert for support that night , building my confidence , setting up and packing, trying to get some photos , helping me get
another awesome kiting experience ....
Thank You .....

I friggen love riding by moonlight! But doing on wet water creeps me right the hell out. I hate swimming in the dark and being in the water in the
dark and not being able to see what the hell is in there with me in the dark.
But I can totally relate and I'm psyched you got out there and did it. I suspect a lot of people would say that it's a little wreckless but if you
know the area and you know where everything is and the moon is bright (and it's been crazy bright lately) then the risk is minimal and the reward is
friggen sick.
Awesome man.

Abkayak ..... That is whats so amazing in this sport ..... there is so much more to explore , new places, new ways of using kite, new kiters to meet
..... adventure that never ends ....
As for reckless part .... I completely agree ,,,, and I am not encouraging anyone to do it if you have any doubts .... just like any other thing
...... You need some skills, confidence and big balls to fly this powerful kite .... lol ... ooooo .... and you need to be a real men ...... as
our favor video teach us ..... It would be reckless for me trying do speed runs on ice ..... jumping on ATB like Carl or trying to do double 360
on buggy ......... riding at night did look much easier for me .... lol ....
Any more of you have chance to do night session ???
