After a crazy storm dumped over a foot of snow on NW Minnesota, i got out and kited 2 different days on a field close to home. The snow was wet and
heavy, but actually went pretty well. Got some wicked fun boosts yesterday with my 14M Frenzy. It's raining now, so i guess the fun is over till
winter actually arives. Good times!!

Glad to hear someone took advantage of the storm. Hoping for some decent snow here in illinois, but probably at least two months away.... just
needs to cover the grass and i will be out there.....

Good on you kiteyakker ! I saw clips on the news of the snow in southern Manitoba and was wondering if anyone was able to take advantage of an early
wet one.
The forecast here is for another teasing this week. Hope we get enough to cover the grass so I can get the snowbades out.

Its a beautiful thing. You get the :wee: prize for getting out there first. Hard frost predicted in the valleys around here tonight. I close my
eyes and I can feel it coming.

Yeah Canuck, i only live 10 miles from the Border. They had lots of wet snow as well, and a huge number of power lines and poles down, something like
165. Power was off at my place for about 35 hours. The fresh snow made the outage a bit easier to bear, did some cross country skiing as well...

My turn for a season opener today YESSS.
Just enough slush to coat the grass and enough southeast wind to make it interesting with the 8m Access and snowblades. I was on the same field on
Tuesday in shorts and a tee shirt with Coyotes. Warming up again tomorrow
