Wouldn't it have been easier to just buy wider tires?LARS-GERMANY - 9-10-2012 at 04:27 PM

God you guys are harsh! Have you no eye for the inner beauty?
I have to admit I am a little partial for all things home built.bobalooie57 - 9-10-2012 at 05:59 PM
With the small front wheel, sudden stops could happen often. With the way the buggy is set up, that "downtube?" looks like it might gut you!ChrisH - 9-10-2012 at 06:02 PM
Some odd buggies for sure but when you can't buy anything and you really want to buggy, that's what you get. I'd be doing the same thing if I were
them!markite - 9-10-2012 at 06:10 PM

That was the first thing I noticed as well. I think what is up side down is the side rails. That is a classic mistake in the earlier buggies when you
assembled the rails on the wrong sides of the buggy so the ended up reverse angle and pointed upward like that. If you assemble a kinked downtube
upside down you'll also get a buggy on an upward angle.Cheddarhead - 9-10-2012 at 08:50 PM

I agree snowspider ! I have a soft spot for (decent) home builds. I don't have the skills to do one myself, but constantly tinker with anything and
everything I can ! Lol..
That second one especially is a bit too much though!Beaudryjoel - 10-10-2012 at 02:59 PM
The second one looks like a kids tricycle tractor .. Minus the swat.

If you like strange and scary home brews, check out PTW's page. http://pic7.piczo.com/Popeyethewelder/?g=41859403&cr=7 My first home brew is #127 ,done in aluminum. My second aluminum buggy is # 264
(looks way better now,w/ bling rims!). And then there is my stainless buggy #413 & 413a. My homebrew kitebike isn't on here yet..... I love
