One of the better "complimentary hotel buffet crashing" scenes (VERY briefing seen @1:54... much longer scene in the movie) is contained in the sleeper flick, "Take Me Home".... things you find out late at night on NetFlix.

I have eaten several times at free hotel breakfasts that I did not stay at. When you travel on a shoestring budget you eat when you can:dunno: The first time I was really nervous, but got over it real fast. They have know idea who is staying at those huge hotels! And it is usually house keepers watching the Buffet.

An aquaintance and girlfriend liked to crash wedding functions..and dance too!

They throw away all the leftovers(sometimes the help may take some-sometimes they are not allowed)

...and that's a worse sin.

:wee: It would be nice and in theme but...does it always have to be kite related? :wee:

I also like the kite/equipment buy sell trade...especially as much as people go back and forth over pics, sizes, will it fit, the condition??...This would be great to actually have a product in your hand to make the deal.

I can't believe Wildwood is just 4 days away!! STOKED

I think any item remotely related or a kiter could enjoy or use...?
Clothing for, warmth , cold or year round could be included. Footwear for kiting ..after kiting..? What would you want to donate that might be too unrelated, BEC? Heck..people might want to take anything!

Speaking of little glow balls I feel like mine just got kicked hard. My van just sucked up $1200 worth of repairs and a $140 traffic ticket puts me out of WBB. I'm a little freaked out by it. I may be able to sell an older commercial tig welder I have to a local supply house but I'm pretty sure its going to be too little too late. Y'all have fun.... see some of you this winter on the ice.

BEC - 22-10-2012 at 11:37 AM

Don't let that stop you...you have a couple days to figure it out..

I got that $10 bucks I owe you... :ticking:

rocfighter - 22-10-2012 at 04:16 PM

How old is this Tig welder? Is it still functional? Is it single phase? How much do you want for it? How heavy is it? Does it fit in your van?
