Pump For Tires

ChrisH - 16-10-2012 at 07:37 PM

Anybody have a pump you would recommend? I'm going to have to deflate my tires to transport my Croozer for now and I'd like to know what others use.

Thanks!

Harbour Freight has the old standup bicycle style for 7 bucks. Dont get any of the foot pump types, garbage.

I like one of those portable tanks from harbor freight. I have space for my truck for it though. My buggy tires go flat in about a day and sometimes I need the pressure to reset the bead. A hand pump won't work for that.

Hmmm, I think I'm gonna get a compressor. Sounds easy :). And I'll make room lol. There are smaller ones that won't take too much room. Thanks guys.

I got a little 12v one at Wallyworld for $ 17. It's about 8" square and 3" thick.

Ryobi 1 system.......inflate closed cells w/ leaf blower, pump your tires w/ air station.... had it since it came out...all my rechargable tools running w/ this... people keep dumping them on CL and i'm loving the set up. Nicads are a must

I also carry a small electric air pump that plugs into the car with about 12' of cord, hummmmmmmms like you wouldnt believe(hahahaha) but does pump up the tires.
Those beach racers will take a bit of time to inflate, just dont break the bead!!!!!! If you do break the bead, head to the gas station and take lots of quarters.

Man, I am going to miss that bug.:(
(don't leave it alone on the beach for more than a second or 2, some kid named Jeff will run off with it and you wont see it till dark)

Must have one of those! I have lots of the batteries for drill, flashlight, arc inflator and reciprocating saw for tree trimming. I like that you don't have to wrestle with the cord that sometimes doesn't quite reach.

If you didn't cut the cord with the saw, it would reach.:P
