I recently crashed because the shoes i was wearing came out of my mountainboard bindings. They slipped out with no effort. I was wondering what
shoes anyone else wears? Ones that are durable, have good stability, stay in the bindings and still look cool. Skate shoes, tennis shoes, etc... ?

I've worn converse allstar hightops, lowtops and they do ok if I get the bindings tight enough but my favorite is a pair of teva trail running boots
that I use for paragliding. Lots of support and good grip in the bindings. What part of Utah are you in?

I use vans hightops. the sole is perfect for the grip tape on top of the board. Also, what kind of foot straps due you have?

Skate shoes like Vans are the best way to go. Plus they are great for scudding (flat bottoms, no tread). Hightops also give you better ankle
support. I also have a pair of Nike day hikers that I use (also good ankle support)

I like using my lightweight hiking boots for some extra ankle support.

I use ex-military boots for the ankle support. Nearly snapped one learning to board (the ankle not the boot!!). They're good for the motorbike that I
get to the beach with as well. I think they look good in a grungy kind of way too.
