I am new to this and wish to start flying big kites and have no idea where to start or what to buy.
Keeping the cost low is key to starting off with this new hobby.
I have been offered a brand new Radsail 3.0M for about £100GBP, is this a good kite to get started with, it comes with quad handles and dyneema line.

Personally, I would recommend a higher quality kite such as Flexifoil, Ozone or Jojo. I understand your desire to save money, but you may soon learn
that performance and durability is relative to the price when purchasing a power kite.

Hi Marcussmart!,Im using the Symphony 2.2 which is a great pulling foil...I got into this game by having go at a Flexifoil 10 which belongs to a mate
of mine.I just bought the symphony off of a friend who was selling it for £50...I like it but want to go onto bigger kites at a later date,but Im
quite`happy as Larry` at the moment.You too could start with the Symphony Kites which start with the 1.4 and then the 1.8(Which I bought the mrs as
mine is too much for her....poor thing!)....and then there is the 2.2...about 5-6ft across.Like yourself,ive only just got into it too....It is quite
expensive but depends what you want.The Powerkiteshop(online)is a good place to look and ive found it to be slightly cheaper than other shops....

I'm recent to this powerkiting thing too - got into it by purchasing a symphony 1.8 for a laugh. Santa has just brought me a PKD Buster 3.0m
which is fantastic.
Being realistic, if you're new to powerkiting then whatever powerkite you buy/borrow/use will be fantastic.

I bought a 1.8 for the mrs and when I looked closely,I found extra bridal attachments...I was quite surprised that a small kite like that could be
coverted to 4 lines?

Have you tried converting the 1.8 to four lines? I posted a question on this forum on this subject and was advised the attachments are probably for
ribbons/streamers/etc and not for brake lines. Haven't tried it yet, but would be interested to know the results.

Yea,its worth looking at if you do want to add extra lines...I think that 2 line swill suffice for now,but I will see how she handles it....trouble
is,there aint been much chance to fly lately...the winds been there but so has the heavy rain!!

those little loops im pretty sure, are for attatching tails on kies that small. I have them on a little 1.4 or so, its a go fly a kite foil. I
especially use them when i have little kids flying it, slows it down a bit. Any way, just my 2cents
