I love the beamers. Wish I was in the market for one right now. Out of curiosity, what does "TSR" mean?
Eastciderida - 24-12-2012 at 06:03 AM
I have no idea this was my first kite bought from someone on this site a couple months ago this thing pulls had it out in 30 mph winds and my arms
were jello after about 30 minutes nice kite still in great shape might get some use in some high winds on the snow

TRS =traction,safety, response. it is a new beamer so it needed to have a different label.

So TSR == Beamer MkVI?
No. Beamer TSR is closer to a Beamer II-III

The Beamer TSR is a discontinued model, which has since been replaced by the HQ Scout, which is now replaced by the Scout II (so the TSR is two
generations back).
The TSR (and later Scouts) have been marketed towards snow & mountain boarders as they all come with bars. The knocks on the TSR were slow
turning, and a too small bar on the bigger sizes. HQ put crossover control (pullies) on the bar on the Scout and integrated it into the Bridle on the
Scout II to help speed up steering.
The TSR and Scout can both also be flown on handles, since they are low-moderate aspect 4-line kites. I'm not sure if the Scout II is handle friendly
with the crossover control integrated into the bridle.
