there is a lot of talk about first kites, but what about the SECOND?
what are your thoughts?

By the time you get around to a second kite, hopefully you have some idea what you want out of the sport. Do you like flying static, buggier, ATB,
maybe surf or snow. It really depends on what you want out of it. There's several excelent all around intermediate kites, I personally like the
Brooza, but there is a huge range of very well built kites to choose from.
I'm assuming you'd be going bigger in size, you want to make sure that the new kite goes with your range though, if you have a 3m, then a 5.5 is a
great addition, if your going from a 1.5 or 2m though, it may be too big of a step up to the 5.5m. You'll end up with a hole in your windranges. A 2m
would be good with a 4m or so to back it up.
If your leaning towards buggy cruising, kites like the Bullets and Samauri's are great kites, lower lift, awesome performance. If you're leaning more
towards ATB's then go with something more like a blades and Broozas are great.
Post up a little more info about what way your going with the hobby, your weight, flying skill, winds you want to fly in and we can give you a better
idea what you should be looking for.
Best advice though, now that you have an idea how to fly and what a kite will do, get out and meet the locals, if possible try their kites, hit up
shops for demos, The kite that I love for what I do and have gotten used to may be the total opposite feel to what you like and want out of a kite.
You really gotta fly them first if possible.

A smaller Viokite VR or Proteus depower kite with the UDS/Mark 1 depower mods.
(But then I bought that kite from Pablo, I believe...who now looks to be amassing the complete PKD quiver now. I thought you loved the PL Gorilla,

pablo- i weigh160lbs and have bbeen flying power kites many years. However i just started putting a landboard on my feet. i fly in socal where the
wind blows 10-15mph usually. my only kite at this moment is an hq montana 7m depower. losts of lift and pop from the kite and very powerful in gusty
conditions. when the santa ana wiinds come in the wind picks up to the 20's mph.
i know i need (want) another kite but what size and which one? so many to choose from. do you know how i can demo some?
