Part of being Grandpa is relating with the grandkids more and more on their level.
With the name Big Kid Kites I was told that "We need some Big Kid stuff Grandpa"
So here is the beginning of the Big Kid Brand of STUFF.
(if you didn't figure it out, it's a kite stake)

I thought lollipop as well, but that may be because I love lollipops! Particularly Tootsie Pops, the green apple and bannana ones!

I am not certian if this is Jeff's intention but BIG stakes like that are common at NABX. You can drop your kite just infront and taco it back over the stake.

If these are the ones you are selling I will probably pick one up Sat. please!

shehatesmyhobbies - 8-11-2012 at 07:39 PM

Even better! I can see that working on the beach as well. Most folks just park their kites in front of their buggy if a stake is not readily available. A lot less to get hung up on with that thing! Could be a nice obstacle as well!

That kite stake should be used for that massive "Black Bat" Weldngod had at the Spring event...AWESOME looking kite in the sky!

Bladerunner - 8-11-2012 at 08:12 PM

Added advantage at NABX is that less of your kite is hitting the playa and getting dirty.

So logic says it should help out on wet beaches like Boundry bay !

Stake for a PL PII 24m?

bigkid - 8-11-2012 at 11:25 PM

While the grandkids were here today we began work on the Big Kid Handles and lines for the kite. I'm not sure who is having more fun with this stuff, me or the grandkids.
