Hey what's going on everyone my name is Alex I am from Staten Island NY and am looking for someone to fly with. I just bought a Ozone Access 12M and
would really like some proper instructions. Thank you very much

That is a VERY large kite for someone just getting into kiting. Do you have any prior flying experience ? I hope you also bought a helmet. I don't
know if anyone here is on S.I. , but there is a large group of riders in South Jersey and a few of us that hit Long Beach on L.I.
What are your goals water, snow, buggy...?

I do in fact have a helmet, my prier flying experience is a 5M kite that I bought before the Ozone 12M and about and hour on a 7M and an hour on a 12M
from a couple I met on the beach flying my 5M.

We have few instructors here in NJ and if Sandy Hook will reopen we sure will have few static sessions , or snowkiting sessions there where we welcome
anyone with questions ...
... If you know any shore spot in SI with clean winds big enough for few buggies let me know ..... We may come you way and meet you there .....
Feel free to contact me for more questions...

Hey Alex! I'm new to the forum and new to power kiting, myself. I'm located in East Northport, Long Island and also looking to meet people for
instruction and just to hang with the "club".
How is S.I. doing after hurricane Sandy? I hope that things are getting cleaned up out there.
Anyways, u2u me if you're ever interested in meeting up.

Hey Kober that's deft a great idea. I'm going to try to think of a place here in Staten Island that we can all fly at but I am also interested in
meeting the "crew" and learning from all you guys.
Jeff what's up budd, check your u2u I will send you my number so we can keep in touch and maybe link up with these guys in NJ so they can really
instruct us on how to safely fly. I don't know about you but I know I need that due to the fact I have a 12M that will shoot you straight up in the
air with no problem. :-)

Hey zalex! Just replied to your u2u.
Even with my measley 5m Tensor, I still think that good instruction is the key to learning the ropes in a sport like this. I'm sure, as with most
things, there are alot of little tricks that will help us improve quickly and safely, especially with your 12m!!
Hope to meet up with a few of you guys in the near future.
