Last winter we ran into Bob Wilson and shot a segment for roadside stories. I'm still amazed at what a beating the little Peter Lynn Impulse 2 took.
Tough little kites.

That was good, he was a fun interviewer and good for him trying especially with the icy conditions for someone used to skiing snow.
I can imagine the sound of the kite hitting the ground all day. I think the natives would have used that kite as wampum because that's what he was
doing with it.

Excellent video. Nice job, Kris. What an ambassador.
And the announcer, what a great guy to spend an afternoon with. Looked h\like he was having fun.

Chris you handled that perfectly. Modest is correct. Good job on insisting on him wearing a helmet with the knowing glance at the camera too. It
was nice to see the contrast between someone giving it a try and a trained professional.

I want a helmet like that.

Well then I believe it's a 661 MTB fullface, coupled with the Zeal Optics RECON goggles, and a go pro on the side.

Cool segment. You should invest in some longer, straight skis though Those
shorties you use from 1987 will never get you going, :wee:

What did you give him to fly(size)?
....at least he didn't run over his own fly lines....

Holy Cats B-Roc I did get those babies in '87! Good EYE!! Then they sat unused in a friends closet for about 15yrs. Don't worry I picked up some up
to date sticks this weekend but the Yamis rides really nice. =)
Erratic is right, 661, Zeals but Drift Stealth for the cam.
SMW, 2m Peter Lynn Impulse 2. My helmet cam was running and I was watching the footage from his POV as hw whipped that poor little kite in a dozen
times. I thought for sure it was gonne have something wrong at the end of the day but after close inspection I couldn't find even a loose stitch. I
couldn't believe it. And nope, he never skied on his lines.
It was a fun segment. His camera guy suffered the most, damn near froze to death I think.
