Hi everyone.
This year we are pleased to be presenting the first annual Snowkite Festival in NH on the foot hills of Mount Washington at the Mount Washington Grand
Hotel on March 2-3 2013! This event will be hosted by International Mountain Climbing School's Snowkite Program in partnership with Omni-Mount
Washington Hotel at Bretton Woods.
The Event will be taking place low down in the fields and golf courses and if the conditions allow, kiting on Mount Washington, as well as the
Presidential peaks (above treeline kiting) will also be a possibility for those who are prepared.
There will be vendors, demo's, educational displays and possibly lectures, as well as a possible race/ "kite Olympics"....
More details will be presented soon!
Please note: Riding on the Mount Washington Fields and golf courses is not permitted during the 2012-2013 winter season unless working with or taking
a lesson from IMCS Instructors based in North Conway, NH.
Please feel free to call for more details.....

skimtwashington - 27-2-2013 at 06:17 AM
Only hear a few chiming in here. Anyone...anyone..Bueller?
Got snow and getting more...
Wind? ...will they have good wind?... not too much..not too little.
... and I don't know what best wind direction would be for area(golf course)?.... Whole compass will work more or less I assume...maybe some
direction better than another.

I hope that will be not necessary ..... I am expecting event crew to have proper traffic control methods prepared for this busy location .... lol
.... I have my kite in trees once ... and I was able to save it unharmed .... dont want to deal with that again ever again .... lol....
.... Ok .... My kitemobile is almost ready ... need to work in morning and planning to drive out about 5pm ...
..... Hoping to meet Feyd for session on Friday and ride with Mass crew at event on Sat and Sun .....
