It's finally time to depart with my low wind engine...just don't use it enough to justify keeping it around. If any of you are familiar, it was FredBBG's (over at kiteforum) kite. I bought it a few years ago and have since had a repair made to it by Powerzone. The one pic shows the repair he did and one that was already there when I bought it (the one with the patch.) When I had it in for repair at Powerzone he told me that although the patch could look better it is a sound repair and wasn't worth redoing. It also has a fray on one of the C lines. I noticed this two flights ago and flew it anyway. I figured if it parted I could still limp back in and it hasn't gotten any worse. Obviously the smart thing is to replace the line. A replacement is about $13. The main lines are about 80%...plenty of flight time left in them.

The bag has the typical flysurfer frozen zippers. It also comes with two of the short leashes that attach to the spreader bar. No spare parts kit though.

The kite is tuned and flies great. It doesn't take much more wind to get going if you can get it in the air...these things feed on relative wind like no other kite I've flown.

Price is $575 shipped to the contiguous 48 states.

Email me at clintwalk422 at verizon dot net. I don't come to the forum much these days although I'll check in to see if anyone is looking at the kite. I'm going to leave it for sale here for a little while before I go the Ikite or Ebay route.

Ahhh I've been wanting to try a speed after I got my 8m pulse and absolutely love it. This is a perfect size too. Poor piggy bank is spent from x-mas shopping, nooooo! Whats the lightest wind you've flown this beast in?

Someones going to be very happy.

I've been on the water in 10-11 on a Door. I've had it in flight lower than that but around here when the wind is that low it typically lulls quite a bit so the kite requires constant movement and I don't have a land board or anything so I never really bothered too much once I got over the new ownership thing.
