We got several inches of snow last night so I took an inner tube and the kite and have officially been towed by the kite now. I went about 1.5 miles
through a field zig zagging from side to side...I have never had as much fun. The kite flies differently when you are moving along. I managed to tack
up wind just a little as the inner tube needs a keel for side bite . I drew a small crowd of sledders and a larger crowd of cows. I am waiting on the
wheels and tires for the buggy, the frame is tack welded so I can adjust things before the final weld up.
I got a few bruises but had a lot of fun, I am glad I wore a helmet. We are planning some beach trips this summer. I wish the wind would come up
again, my hands are still frozen but I want to do it again.

Have you tryed useing a runner sled? You might be able to go upwind with one of those. I'm going to try it as soon as the wind strong enough. I have
gone 45-60 degrees cross wind in a normal sled. Once when I was rideing with a friend I jumped out of the back. He didn't even notice until the sled
was almost stopped. I'll tell you how it went with the runner sled when I
finally get out.

Ha Ha,
I found I was great entertainment for a couple of horses today. Poached a farmers field and the horses next door followed me back and forth with an
odd look!

Glad you had some fun. I was thinking of you as I kited here in town. It's has been difficult to predict the wind and to meet up. Up on the hills
there is snow but here in town there isn't. I was wondering if you had any snow out there. Maybe I should go for a drive on Thursday or Friday.

SOunds like a blast. I'm planning on trying a sled in a couple of days. I hope there is enough snow.
