I weigh about 83 kilograms (183 lbs.).
Do you suppose this would be too big for me? I will be using it mainly in Mongolia and northern China (winds 24-40).
Your opinion?
Proletariat - 5-2-2013 at 01:20 PM
That is a great looking Ape! Someone please buy this kite before I accidentally cause a divorce.
24-40 mph seems a little high for a 13m unless you're VERY experienced, IMO. I'm 175 lbs. and was out with my 18m in 5-10 mph and had to release a
few times while trying to tune it.
Would this be your first depower? Your first Arc? How good are you at using the safety mechanism really really quickly?
grigorib - 5-2-2013 at 03:05 PM
For 25-40 knot wind you can check my other listing - S-ARC 630 which would suit it way more. I'd agree that 13m would be an overkill
Snake - 5-2-2013 at 04:57 PM
I think he means kilometers per hour being he posted his weight in kilograms and is from china where they use the metric system, not like us in
'merica.:duh: If it is in kph then it would be about 15-25mph, much more reasonable for a 13m.
grigorib - 5-2-2013 at 05:06 PM
Some european folks tend to measure wind speed in meters per second which is about knots/2
So 25-40 of what?
Proletariat - 5-2-2013 at 10:14 PM
So what changes did they make between the G1 and the G2, anyway?
grigorib - 15-3-2013 at 01:46 PM
GII is a year or so younger to say the least
