are you looking for a fixed bridle kite with handles, a fixed bridle kite on bar, a depower kite, or a trainer kite?scott3 - 27-12-2012 at 11:45 AM
Well, from what i have seen/been told is that fixed bridle with bar/handles is the best way to go.So either a fixed bridle w/handles/bar/bothgrigorib - 27-12-2012 at 12:10 PM

It'd be hard to find a depower kite under $200. Guys almost fought for such a custom mod (by powerzone for another west coast guy if I'm not mistaken)
few months back. A quad is more realistic and unless you're training for depower as for your main ride, smaller depowers could be tricky, grigorib - 27-12-2012 at 12:28 PM
Except if you manage to find 2.5 Viron for under $200.
When you do, please get one for me Snake - 27-12-2012 at 12:34 PM

What have you got?Bladerunner - 2-1-2013 at 06:54 PM
I just sent him my 3m Blaze , 5m Ace, with one set of handles, lines and killers within budget. I will really miss the Ace and it should serve him
well being a big guy. The Blaze is in near new shape and should be what he needs to prepare for the Ace. He is aware of Pansh's place in the pecking
order. + the Aces lifty / collapse at edge nature.Bigbear97e - 3-1-2013 at 05:52 PM
I like my blaze3.0 . . I fly it lots . . . Be cautious of ace . . I got a bit stupid and my ace4.5 and it spanked me . . Picture 6', 240 flying like
superduck chin first into the sod . . Oh the horror LOL . . Your gonna love it . . Please use a helmet as a minimum . . Add gloves and elbow/knee
pads if you got 'emProletariat - 4-1-2013 at 02:59 PM
A strong second to what bigbear said. IMO as a relative noob of 2 years, the Ace is a bit less predictable than a Flexifoil Blade, for instance. So,
considering that:
So my advice (from a guy who jumped a lot with the 3m ace and totally jacked himself up jumping a 4m kite on a 10 gusting 30 day) is this:
1) Respect the gust. If you think, "hrm... I wonder if I should pack up..." The answer is yes
2) Learn to redirect by instinct. Lofting happens fast.
