Finally got to go out today , went to Jericho Lake was'nt to bad 8 to 12 inches of snow was a little tricky. The wind was a little weak and on an off
but it was a good first day for this season.

Good for you man! Was there any sled action on the lake? Rode over your way about 2-3 weeks ago on the boiler plate.
Rode Umby yesterday will probably head up there tomorrow. WNW 11mph is the forecast but Umby usually does better than the forecast. We were suprised
to see truck on the ice at the reservoir. Made me more confident about hitting the ice at Umby for the first time this season.
Ice around North Conway got trashed by the snow and wind. Snow weighed it down, pretty sure the wind cracked it up a little so now the ice sank a
little and it's slush under the snow. If we get lucky the snow won't be able to insulate against this up comming cold but I bet it stays slush until
we get rain again.
Doesn't seem to blow on Umby until around noon. That's when we usually get there:bouncy:

No sled action very quite, there was some slush under the snow in spots towards the boat landing. Have a great day at Umby.
