Seems like a cool kite for the right person. Sort of like a first generation Montana. Details found here ... [link removed]Feyd - 18-1-2013 at 06:36 AM

According to the store website they have 7 in stock.
I kind of thought knockoff myself but didn't realize it was the exact M1 layout until Feyd posted it. Has anyone who knows about buggies checked out
the buggyies on the website? Are they knockoffs too? Maybe JB opened a store?erratic winds - 18-1-2013 at 07:58 AM
Remember, we just need to say his name once more and he'll appearacampbell - 18-1-2013 at 08:22 AM
Bring it on.
He even cut and pasted from the HQ Catalog product description of the Montana and then claimed that it was an original design....rocfighter - 18-1-2013 at 08:55 AM
The name that can not be spoken has been spoken.
The question is Konrad where did you get this? Was it an early start up option?BeamerBob - 18-1-2013 at 09:27 AM
He also had Kite Trike knockoffs. Used libre buggies for pictures in his ebay listings. He went to the trouble to create fake kite forums with
copied, edited, and pasted forum posts from PKF and Kite Crowd (old Flexi forum). He is industrious enough to make a living honestly and with honor
but seems to be one of those pathologicals that gets joy from stealing, and copying and deceiving.indigo_wolf - 18-1-2013 at 09:32 AM

Some of the buggy pics are what I remember being listed on some of the eBay auctions. Others could have been lifted from manufacturer or other sites.
As to the store.... doing a Google Maps search on the contact address on the website pulls up what looks like a condo. Not necessarily a red flag, as
some kite retailers do run their business out of their home. Just something that prompts a closer look.
The Rev knock-offs most definitely look like what was being being sold on eBay.

Got it a year ago from local guy and was planning to play with it a bit .... and after I got all my Gin kites this one end up in basement ....

D'oh!
Oh Kober, you had a bit of sordid history in your quiver and you didn't even realize.
On the upside, if the fake HQ flies at all like the real Montana 1 then it's a damn fun kite. :wee:Bladerunner - 18-1-2013 at 06:44 PM
YIKES !
He's also selling the Romano / Flexfoil / GTX Kite trike knock off made famous by JB !
As a COMPETITION buggy ! :wow:
Somebody needs to ask this guy where he got this knock off gear?
Fexi is such a tight company, I wonder if THEY know he is a distrubuter ? Same with Peter Lynn ? Ozone? I suspect none of them know .
