Just came back from my second buggy trip using my12M 2012 Ozone Access. The wind both days was very light with my wind meter reading 6 – 7 mph. Since
the sessions were on the beach, the wind at “kite level” was, with little doubt, higher than my ground reading. Needless to say, the wind was very
light. The kite struggled off the ground with a few backward steps. Once in the air however, the kite never showed any signs of folding, stalling or
loss of control. In this very low wind situation I was able to buggy on hard pack beach, soft sand and small dunes. The buggy speed was slow but the
kite was more stable, responsive and more powerful than my smaller 2012 Accesses under the same low wind conditions. The 12M kite is two meters larger
than my 10M and that would explain why more power. The big plus of this kite is that it never wanted to stop flying or become unresponsive in very low
wind. I have not used the kite in stronger winds, but that is not why I bought it.
