Hello All!
So I just booked a trip to Panama to an all inclusive with my girlfriend (Royal de Camerone 2 hours west of Panama City.)
Just want to know if any one has kiteboarded in Panama and if there are any recomendations for kite schools. I will not be bringing any gear other
than a trainer to muck around on the beach with. I don't think I will have more than a day to devote to kiteboarding anyway.
From what I have seen, there will be no really good wind directions in the area I'm staying (mostly offshore), so the easiest thing would be to take a
day and travel to one of the kite beaches and rent or take a lesson.
So any help would be greatly appriciated!:wee:

Been to Panama several times,a great place. I was mostly up at the Veraguas pennisula, not alot of places to rent a surfboard much less kite gear. It
may happen, just ask the locals, in my experience very nice and helpful, helps if you speak Spanish. May have more luck closer to Panama city but
watch water quality there. Have fun, wish I was going back this year

Thanks Mainekite,
That's great info. Looking forward to seeing a new Central American country. I travelled around Costa Rica for three weeks about four years ago (man
time flies lol!) It's an amazing part of the world, so much life packed into such a small geographic area.
The waves were epic in Costa Rica; I hope I get the same lucky swells in Panama this time around.
