Ice buggy

jellyfish - 23-1-2013 at 09:40 PM

I have an ice buggy I built a few years ago, I just don't use it anymore it's sitting here needs a new home and some appreciation! There was a time when I was obsessed with ice buggies and speed but not anymore, if you are that obsessed then it's here ready to go, it's all stainless, skates are high carbon spring steel the whole design uses the same concept as the ice boats it's a free skate that floats and self aligns, this is fast built for bragging rights., the low center of gravity makes it stable the steering is more vertical and tracks perfectly, you can slide the back out to scrub off speed sharpen the skates daily with a belt sander and a jig.

Buggy side rails and seat are off my wheeled buggy I'll just have to rebuild them i have wanted to do that for the last year or two.

Email me jim@jellyfishboards.ca, price is firm at $750.00 Canadian plus shipping, or it's available for pickup in Kitchener ont, Canada N2M 4k5 buyer be ware you can hurt yourself with this, its not a toy, use at your own risk.

You should come visit us. We have ice now on our local lake. I may try to go out on Sunday if I feel up to it.

Seeing those pics I remember your story about flying fast in the fog. I belt sand mine sharp , someday I need to fix up a jig and really do it right.
