..... Its been long time since I have chance to enjoy snowkiting ....
My adventure with kites started over 2 years ago... all magic and addiction started with unforgettable snowkiting sessions on local beach ....
Then Kitestorm and few other awesome rides on snow ....
Every time someone mention snowkiting my memories go back to those moments that I cherish ....
Last year snow and wind gods did not let me enjoy that awesome discipline except few small runs at Tug Hill event .....
This year "awesome" feeling is back after trip to Oneida lake with my buddy Jim ....
We stay there for 3 days and have chance to ride 2 ..... One with steady clean winds and freezing temperatures on my 13m Gin Yeti and another one
with gusty harsh conditions riding with my new Gin Sherpa 10m and winter mix coming down from sky .....
Non of those days was perfect , but I have finally chance to ride on snow , try few jumps and my new kite .....
I did not expect that after 3-4h session my legs will be in pain so much that we need to stop .....
It was good to meet snowspider again and chat with few local kiters .... fun visiting local Ski Club and gambling in casino ...
Now when I am back home ... all I can think of is when I have chance to do this again .....
..... and there is one more thing ....
.. When wind droped down to 3mph I have chance to try my new Gin Tonkawa 15.4m .. This is amazing how much power that beast have ...... Its
hard to keep it in much smaller wind window but when I did I was able to snowkite on my snowboard with no problem ,,,,
Glad to be on snow again ......

How's the sherpa compare to the eskimo or yeti?

B-roc ...
I use Sherpa in very bad conditions .... wind gusting 8-20mph ... and ice dropping from above .... We have very hard time keeping kites in air
.... and impossible to keep at zenith with all that extra weight ..... so I cant tell how good this kite is until tested in proper conditions
.....
