there are a dozen more that have left also. Wonder what they did with their stuff? sitting in a dark corner of the closet or garage wondering if they will ever get out. I would at least leave the light on for them, they might be afraid of the dark. :lol:

I do talk to Todd a couple times a week, he is staying busy and healthy. He is just on the road all the time and when he parks the truck, generally he is ready to eat, shower and go to sleep.

Maven got married last Spring, I have only heard from him a couple times since. Not that getting married had anything to do with him disappearing:tumble:

There are a bunch of noobs on here, that is good, but it is nice to hear from the regulars once in a while.

Hope they are all well!

I spoke w Tridude maybe two months ago. He was going to be out of commission for a few months and planned to be back in action by the spring.

I miss his insight. He's a very knowledgable and helpful guy. Just good people.

I went AWOL awhile back. Basically checked into the Betty Ford Clinic for Kiters! Got burned out from 1110% commitment of all my time. Glad I came back since I forgot how great everyone here is.

Remember a lot of those names maybe they were ready for Betty too!

No excuses;-)!! I'm still here and on the group W bench waiting for a pacemaker!! But I don't listen well and have to, Just had to go try out my new Apex II 7.5 Sunday with lots of support just in case!! TheKid did real well with his Skydog4.0 in my buggy. I flew static :ticking:
If I'm not able to kite for a while I will go and watch my friends kite. Like when I was at WBB this past fall I enjoyed watching every one have a lot of fun. I did buggy a little but not to much. I hope this will all change in the next couple of weeks.

I've been working my tail off putting in long hours and taking care of mougl jr. I'm around though

have a new buggy project in development and some new ripstop coming soon. Haven't had time to fly but that's about to change :thumbup:

There was few beginners with lots of enthusiasm ... making long reports from first sessions that I enjoy to read very much ..... Remember some girl ... think from CA that have perfect way to describe her first session ..... would love to read more of those ....

Got married in the fall actually. It caused me to miss Fall 2012 WWBB, but hasn't been responsible for anything else.

Nah, fall before I was there. It's spring that I skipped and that's because the spring ones just don't manage to be as good.

Haven't been doing any kiting...I caught the Stand Up Paddle board bug pretty bad and that has been taking up most of my time. We're also out of season for the most part.

No water kiting and the park I go to that gets the north winter winds is under construction. Still waiting for those spring south and east winds to start blowing so I can jump back on the buggy.

I did manage to get a lunch hour special last Thursday on the buggy and 9.4 Vapor. I was a little worried to see if I would even remember how to fly but it all came back to me when my butt hit the seat!

Thinking about actually trying to get some water time this weekend if the wind cooperates.

...and am seriously thinking about taking a trip out to the playa for NABX...it's about time I match the faces with the names.

It feels good to be back!!!

f0rgiv3n checking in... still have some of my gear and plan on getting back into it soon! I haven't gone flying for like 2 years but still watch the tops of the trees daily. I got frustrated from the winds in Idaho and bought a mtnbike instead. ... I'm thinking In the near future I'm gna have to buy a Twister IIR and get myself off the ground :bigok: i miss the feeling of an open cell foil lifting me off the ground.

I'm gonna try and make a come back, the ivenpah event kinda got the wind back in my sail...
Sold the alum bug in hopes to build a new SS bug, I'll do a write up on it as I go, also wanna build a land sailer along the way...

Sorry all.......been MIA but not intentional.......doms doing his bike ride to South America I believe........Phree not so sure but hope he and Carla are well.......look forward to reuniting at JIBE and meeting some new faces....props to BK for making the coast to coast trip......look forward to kickin up some sand with Frank, Soliver, Todd, Scott and Scott, and of course Angus and Chris......BK bringing in some PDKs should be ultra sweet......I've got the FB quiver and pump kites (Ozones) available to all that are interested.....with my radiation treatments ending this week my strength should be back up but if not I'll be doin alot of GO Proin....When I get tired I will be on the camera/recorder and posting nightly from the room.........again Im beach front at the Ocean Inn and have an extra bed if anyone is interested......65/nite.........it will be another stellar event....I've never missed a JIBE and lord wilin I will keep the record goin.......see you all there and safe travels inbound to everyone.........
Watch the GA Highway Patrol they don't give warnings, especially to Yankees........
