yeah the jump's and hangtime in this video is amazing to me, anyone here achieve these types of jumps? Most other vid's on YouTube are nothing like this. Do you think it was the wind condition or were they probably using rather large kites? both?

It wasn't an overly large kite for kitesurfing. It was DEFINATELY a freak wind condition - MAJOR localized updraft. You cannot acheive that kind of airtime without some kind of major updraft, even if you had a 30m kite! He was just in the right/wrong place at the right time. If you notice in the video, there are several other kitesurfer out there (some with even bigger kites than that guy!) but no one else was getting lifted. He just happened to get caught in it.

Those are guys from UK and they jump on Blades III 6.5 & 8.5 in 15-20mph winds as they say...I did jump few times like that in buggy with 6.5 blade IV in crazy winds.

Hey spin a while! Did some research and im gonna get the stuff to make a nasa parawing tomorrow. I was just messin around today with a 50 square foot tarp and some line. Never had much sucess with it. It would pull me but not very well. As i was looking at nasa parawings i learned about a 4 line configuration and i made handles for it and because i live in colorado the wind died by the time i was done. It was only blowing like 5 mph so i said ahh i'll just see what happens if I run i brought it out and instantly it started pulling (really hard!!!) so i pulled on the dont know what their called, (the ones that arent brake lines) and it shot over my head and i was struggling to keep it in control. And again we go back to the whole i live in colorado thing suddenly the wind picked up ripped me off the ground and carried me about 50 feet about five feet off the ground. SWEET!!!!!!! so much fun!!
