Top notch honest guy selling this stuff. You can trust him for sure. The kites are great, I've flown them, they just need to get out more.

How would one go about repairing the seam on the 10m? Is it a tough process? I'm sure it would be better to get it done by a professional. How much do you think it would cost?

BeamerBob - 14-2-2013 at 02:50 PM

fix my kite charges by the length of the repair. If you knew that, you could get a ballpark figure. $50 to $100 covers all but the worst of repairs. That's still a full quiver of Venoms and a bar and lines for $600. not bad.

We send all our stuff to North Sails up here. Do you have a sail repair shop near you ?

Powerzone also does good work.

We have someone here that does good work. FixmyKite does great work and is pretty affordable considering what they do sometimes.

How would a 19 venom fair as a light wind water kite? I have been thinking about getting something bigger that my 12 slingshot rally.

Would a sail repair shop know how to fix the inside of a foil? It seems (pun intended) that they would have a hard time sewing on the inside of a kite. I do have XL Kites near my house in Houston, but I don't know if their staff knows how to repair foils. I have sent stuff to Fix My Kite before and was happy with their work and price.

Jason- I have had fixmykite fix two arc for me, one with a blown cell - cost for the blown cell was i think $25 plus shipping and when it came back you would not have been able to tell- excellent guys and work. Now the bad news unless you were the lucky one the 10m was sold within 10 minutes of the post so you dont have to worry about this one. so i am guessing flyfish or mainekite ended up with it but according to email from seller i recieved last night others are available.
@patrick- I love my 19 venom but not for light winds, i find that in light winds 9-15 i use my 13 and work the hell out of it because it is fast enough and only break out the 19 when its blown 20+ for big floaty airs.- this is all on land so add more wind for water

Thanks Scott,
I didn't want to say anything, but yea I'm ending up with the 10.

bourgeois.jason - 15-2-2013 at 08:34 AM

I'm interested in these kites because I am probably going to sell my 19m charger here in Angola. I want to have the money in hand before I commit to buying something else, though. I'm sure these will be gone by next Sunday, February 24th. If so, I'll just keep looking. Something is always coming available.

All,

The 10 is gone, but the 13 and 19 are still available. Anyone having questions, needing more info or wanting pics let me know.
