I plan on going to the pre-event and the main event.
I will be camping in a trailer. I do not want to stay in a campground. I want to pull over, push the parking brake and buggy till I drop.
Please provide advice to me, a newbie.
To camp in Red Lakke (if that is where we go), do I need any type of pass or authorization to camp in places?
If I go to Ivanpah starting Friday night, do I need any type of pass or authorization to camp on the bed?
If there is any advice that might keep BLM or DNR officers away and happy, I want to do it.
So...any authorization needed? If there are passes, can you direct me to where I need to register?
Please and Thanks.
Paul
P.s. I am registered and know that I will have a "pass" from Tues to Sunday.BeamerBob - 20-2-2013 at 10:10 AM
no pass required for Red Lake but you will need one for Ivanpah. Google ivanpah blm and follow the links to request a permit. It is free. Elaine
will be prompt and courteous as I've always found.awindofchange - 20-2-2013 at 10:48 AM
Yup, contact Needles BLM office for permit for Ivanpah. Red lake does not require any permit.deanaoxo - 20-2-2013 at 11:36 AM
