fighting kites! How often do people ask, "So power kiting... you try and cut each other's lines, or what?"

we always fly real close like that and people think we are trying to take each other out of the sky ,the trouble here is that i know the Scud is filming behind me and I know there is a small jog ahead and im thinking it should be a good show to two wheel over the wood ,well the log acted like a ramp and you can see the barrel roll result. makes for good video right.

I believe you, millions woudn't, but I do. ;) Aren't you the guy who told me "never use a power spin to get up on two wheels"?
But it does make for good video.

The wind was at least 20kts. and gusting higher that day.

You may be interested in knowing that I was flying my 7m Pulse that day and not really overpowered . Something to think about as you get used to your FB kites and thinking about what size depower to choose.

When I am flying my 15m arc I am just getting the wind I need to jump when these ( skilled ) guys are going down to 3 and 4m FB foils.

It is kind of hard to get your head around the fact I can be flying so much bigger kites but depower foils and even more so arcs are less efficient . Until you get airtime that is.. Then the extra canopy is a very welcome thing !

We could have been flying bigger and would have, if the chances of getting dragged through the pond weren't so high. It is smelling really ripe.
