Hey Sailors,
Wow! Lots of emotion and concern over our little gathering this year.
Ya know... I have known and worked with the folks tasked with this for better than 20 years.
If they say it'll all work out... then I believe 'em.
I remember the early years when we had no organization.
How the heck did it all work then?
One of the nice things about kiters is; it all does.
A bunch of flyers would show up a little ahead of time, get everything ready, and have a great and wonderful experience.
Nothing worth making worry over.
So don't worry... Be happy.
Come at the appointed time,
to the appointed place,
and let the magic happen.
So much of life is expected to work how we want, when we want, where we want, while reality is that not much really does.
Be a part of the magic.
Trust me.
Safen Up! Buggy On!

Corey I must say, that has got to be the best thing I have read on this forum in a long time.
With all the crazy things going on in the world today, we are fortunate to have this sport that gives us peace as well as pleasure with just a little
blow of the wind.
Ride On brothers!

The Mayor has spoken !
I had already made different plans this year.
I am confident that the show will go on and there will be lots of wild and crazy stories again this year.
Please put the interests of those who use Ivanpah all year 1st. We are just the " Cool Kids " that only show up 1 week a year !

Thanks Corey. Right on. Non events can be the best place to meet new people.
