Hey everybody,
I am hopefully going to the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival (Formally the Smithsonian Kite Festival) this March in DC. I am going to try to do a power
kiting demonstration on one of the demo fields(closed to the public aka kids kites) if given the opportunity (aka if no one has big show kites).
I have a couple questions:
I was thinking of setting up a NAPKA banner or information table if possible but I don't have any of the Banners and was wondering if anyone in the
area had one that I could borrow? or if they want to come they can set it up themselves. Next question, Does anyone want to help me out with this? It
would be good to have one person for flying and another to give information about power kiting.
This plan is still in the works but one of the guys that helps with the event said bring my stuff and maybe it will happen. I plan on going to the
event either way because I usually fly my dual line trick kites and revs there. If I get the opportunity to do this, it could really help spread
interest in power kiting and growth as a community. I have gone to this event several times over the years and there are thousands of people there.
I can bring alot of my stuff but it would be easier if others brought stuff too.
