sorry all. I did not think to ask him about shipping. I would imagine he would be willing to do it. Send him a message on CL. The rockeville doesnt weigh much so shipping will not be bad. I would guess $40 - $50 to NY, but its just a rough guess.

If he does not want to ship it but you guys could convince him to bring it to me I will do it no problem. Its about a 3 hour round trip for him so keep that in mind. I would love to see my old friend again.

I remember when I didn't yet have a buggy and pokitetrash loaned me his kite trike for a few days. I thought it was the best buggy in the world when I was getting to ride with it. This price wouldn't hurt at all to get someone rolling. At this price you can sell it to upgrade later and get your money back.

I miss Thrasher on the forum. Never got to ride with him though.

I contacted the seller to see if he would ship the rig if I paid the cost.
Bottom line: No.
He wants to sell it locally.
It was still available as of yesterday.

If it would help the sale, I will be driving past the guy on the way to Ivanpah. If someone is wanting it, I can pick it up on the way past and bring it to the lake bed. Or if it would be a bit easier, I could pick it up and bring it to WW or Jibe.
As I stated, I will be driving right past the owner and it would be no problem at all to pick it up and deliver to the new owner.
Free pick up and delivery to the events if you were wondering.

I think I discovered that even with bulletproof rims ( thanks ) 40mph is a mental limit on the Playa. I'm about to see what my mental limit is on the East Coast !
