Recon SPPX Zeal Transcend GPS goggles SOLD

With these goggles on, you can glance down to the lower right and see your current speed. If you go faster than previously in your current session, it changes color and indicates you've hit a new max speed. These would also be awesome for snowski/snowboard activities since it will keep up with miles travelled, elevation gained and lost etc.

I find myself not wearing these because they don't fit my helmet so well. They work great with my skate helmet but I feel more secure in my MX full face helmet. These have been worn maybe 4-5 times. You might be able to tell they've been worn but they really are in like new condition.

Comes with storage case, protective bag, and charging/data cable.

Paths can be downloaded onto a satellite map using downloadable software, showing your speed/elevation at any given point in a run. You can also do a playback in realtime or fast forward to watch your performance in a run.
Here is the first time I downloaded the track of a run at Ivanpah.

GPS track

These goggles are the top of the line with photochromic/polarized lenses.

Retail is $600. Selling for $300. Shipping included or will deliver to you or your agent at Ivanpah.

Anybody used these with a Mac? Any "why do they always make the cool crap work best with a PC" issues?

BeamerBob - 13-3-2013 at 12:14 PM

I see they are changing software, but didn't get deep enough to see if there was a mac version or if one was needed. The real beauty of these has little to do with the downloading, but having your current info available right there in your lower right siteline. They are way nicer than any goggles I've ever owned even if you don't consider the gps. The photochromic is really nice when the sun is setting and you've been in clear bright conditions then ease into dusk. You never even notice the changes.

This item has sold locally. A guy with a landyacht that is usually the one to measure against on the lakebed couldn't resist.
