Maybe I am out of the loop, but this flew under my radar until recently.
I was doing a search and smiled when I caught a glimpse of John's name on the Google Search Results Preview. A little digging around finally got me
to the appropriate page:
We thank John for the song "Shoot the Breeze", which the NASA STAR-2- Kite is dedicated!

Thanks Sam!
I originally bought a 4m Nasa Star 2 from Steffen at Born-kite and made a bit of a video review of it which I sent to Steffen along with an order for
the rest of the sizes. Meanwhile, Steffen had been looking at some of my videos and my Soundclick site - which is where I keep all my music - and
asked me if I would be able to write a song dedicated to the Nasa Star 2.
I had been toying with the idea of writing a song about kite buggying for a little while but hadn't got very far with it but this was now a bit of a
challenge to myself to see if I could do it. It is sometimes, quite easy for me to write a song if I get really worked up about something, but it's
very, very difficult for me to 'plan' a song about something. Took me quite some time to eventually come up with some lyrics - music is a little
easier for me sometimes - and I came up with 'Shoot the Breeze'. Which was my kiting analogy for 'Shooting the rapids'.
First draft got reworked just a little bit to refine some lyrics and after that I decided I wanted to try and make a music video - which I had never
done.
I'm not sure whether it's lame, embarrassing, funny or good! I'm just real glad no-one was on the beach the day I filmed it!!
