Does anyone know where I can find a set of these to replace the old free_flex binding plates on my vintage comp 16 to upgrade to F3' s ?
Been searching but can't seem to find them. Hoping to avoid drilling out the deck.

You are searching for attaching the binding to the board, right? http://shop.mbs.com/mountainboard-parts/mbs-aluminum-l-brack... will work?

That's not the part I'm looking for.
(I already have the L brackets on the new bindings)
I'm looking for the baseplate that attaches to the board-the L brackets
then attach to it. It replaces the old school style baseplate
mounted free flex bindings.
The part is called the F3 baseplate

Depending on where you are located, you might be able to shake some loose from the guys SurfingDirt. However, you might also find this thread of
interest, which makes some points as to why the baseplates aren't the way to go:

Thanks for the input guys.
I first saw the plate on the Superdairyboy website. I called (no one answered) and left a message. Probably is no longer in business as his start page
on mountain boards shows several being out of stock until 2008
I like the plate as it allows you to make adjustments to your riding angle when desired. If you're drilling them directly into the board you get what
you got! The free-flex bindings currently on the board have the plate. The "additional weight" referred to in the surfingdirt forum post isn't an
issue for me. They're aluminum so the weight is negligible.

oh ok. the original plates with the free flex bindings weighed more. they are made of steel i think

I had seen that posting on SurfingDirt.
Do you have pictures of how it turned out? Did you use T-nuts or did you run bolts all the way through?
shortlineflyer - 19-3-2013 at 08:01 AM
I ran bolts all the way through. I will post pictures tonight or tomorrow. I drilled then sealed the walls of the new holes with silicone then put the
screws through. I used different bolts than the ones supplied so i wouldnt have to counter sink the holes. I think I used hex cap screws. what is your
stance width. do you know?
