March has got to be one of the best months for winter cruisin on the lakes, the sun is warm and the days are longer. Not a particularily exciting
vid, but you get the idea..
Nice. Gotta love March on the ice!Kober - 18-3-2013 at 07:19 AM

Sorry to hear that Kober...we'll probably be skiing the lakes well into April if winter doesn't let up soon. Another 3-4 inches of snow here
today.....that rodent in pennsylvania was wrong this year, no early spring for us.Cheddarhead - 18-3-2013 at 04:19 PM

Man am I feeling stoopid. I convinced myself to wait to get a kite for next season because our winter was so bad, horrible ice conditions, when it
finally did freeze no snow and I don't have an iceboard, yadda yadda. Usually our lakes here are no longer solid by early to mid March but right now
we (finally) haven't had any melting temps for at least a couple weeks solid, there IS snow cover, my favorite ski hills all have several feet of
recent snow with a foot fresh and are all closed due to wind.
Nothing less than 15 mph for days on end, tonight 25-35 with gust up to 45 or higher. Have fun out there!Feyd - 19-3-2013 at 07:32 PM
We got a ton of snow and the wind's gonna nuke tomorrow. Rock 'n Roll!

Spent the last 3 days in the UP - northern WI lakes are ALL frozen solid, with good coverage. Curious how long kiting season will last? Wind here
has been amazing - steady, predictable ... Shawano was sure looking tempting!! (As were the .75 zillion other lakes in the region)
