Was on Lake Sunappee,NH last Saturday. Ice still thick. had up to a foot ofsnow w/ light crusty surface. Winds howled gusting to 30 or so.

Silver lake is slush. 6+ inches in spots .... Very wet
Ossippee lake is nice and hard granular ice ( very edgabke for skis ) snowboards are going to be tough
East side of Washington is the best for kiting really.... Just doesn't set up often wind wise.... But when it does..... It makes Mavericks (large
wave) look like child's play
A healthy warning though.,, this year has been very dangerous on mt Washington and even now the avalanche danger is going to be a concern...
