So since the little accident last week I've decided to sell off some of the FB collection, most have been hardly flown and only have maybe 3-4 hours on them. I won't be able to fly these for another couple months anyway so it's time to move them on.

Here we go:

Spiderkites Lycos 2.5: This is more of a speed foil than power kite, but when the wind picks up it will really drag you around.

I can get more pics if necessary but do keep in mind my foot is busted so it may take me a day or two.

Yep. I didn't post up the story yet out of embarassment. :embarrased:

short version: got unintentionally lifted ~15 ft., let go of handles, crushed left heel bone when I landed. Ouch. 5-6 week recovery time.

Don't worry, it wasn't the Scorpion.

dang man i'm sorry to hear that. i hope you get a quick recovery. another buddy of mine broke his leg on friday getting accidentally lofted. he sent me the picture and you can see the bone sticking out....so crazy

What the heck is going on out there? Injuries on the rise or what?

Crushed heel bone sucks. Scarecrow took a fall climbing years ago and crushed both his. The had to make some new bone out of a piece of his pelvis to replace some of the shattered heel.

Geez...that's one of the things I busted (actually shattered into a million pieces) when I crashed into the side of a mountain paragliding...I call it my pimp walk now :lol:

..but the good thing is it caused me to find kitesurfing :thumbup:

That 5.5 ReactorII has been my go to kite for a few months now. Great wing!! Nice range for a FB, awesome upwind, nice low end grunt, smooth power build up, stable, and if you have the room to run....it's pretty quick! Turns fast (especially with brake input)

Not trying to get you to get it Spence but its one hell of a wing. Ill have mine at JIBE...hopefully you'll have yours too :D
